We have seen these stories about the possible campaign which should discourage people from Romania and Bulgaria from coming to the UK. And also a mocking anti-campaign from Romanian paper Gandul. What does it tell us about the UK perception of Romania and Bulgaria and vice versa?

Romania’s referendum on Basescu is not valid. What’s next?

It seems the society is polarized. PM Victor Ponta said, with a clear reference to Basescu, that he thinks that any politician who willingly ignores 9 million votes is out of touch with reality. On the other hand Traian Basescu says that he will try and generate a sentiment of reconciliation in society.

The process was a mockery but Ceausescu deserved his faith

Mircea Raceanu is so called the last political prisoner of Romanian dictator of Nicolae Ceausescu. He was released from the prison on December 23, 1989, Ceausescu was executed two days later. This is the short interview with Mr Raceanu.
