Hungary and Azerbaijan made Armenia furious

Hungary handed over Azerbaijani national and confessed killer of Armenian officer Ramil Safarov to Baku when he was pardoned and promoted.

Would you say that this case can escalate even further and is it anything what can the international community do to cool it down?

The crime was a particularly vicious one, and to act cavalierly about the horror and sorrow that Armenians feel only worsens the tensions between Armenia and Azerbaijan. Hungary must strongly protest what Azerbaijan has done, and Azerbaijan should recognize that it introduced an unnecessarily emotional barrier to resolving differences between the republics.
