Supermodel said she was given very small dirty-looking stones in 1997 but it failed to proof a clear connection between the diamonds and Charles Taylor. Former President of Liberia is accused of using illegally mined diamonds to secure weapons for Sierra Leone’s Revolutionary United Front during the 1991-2001 civil war.
